The Pastor invited a bunch of us girls to his place for dinner and then brought us to Geylang.
Ok, I lie.
The Pastor invited a bunch of the girls and one aunty (me) to his place for dinner, and then brought us to Geylang.
The Pastor cooked dinner for us! Wow!
I didn't get food poisoning.
The Pastor had just bought a new MPV and we all stuffed inside for a trip to Geylang to sample their famous wares -- beancurd desserts! Yes, from the famous stall that put peanuts in their tau huey. The one next to the famous Beef Hor Fun.
Oh sheesh, everything in Geylang is famous lah!
I don't own a car. I hardly do stuff like drive to the furthest reaches of Singapore just to savour the best this or the best that. So I was very amazed by the size of the you tiao! I've never seen such long you tiaos! I am deprived.

Anyway, though it sounds kinda scandalous, we actually had a really good time. You tiao! Tau huay! Waaah...
