Items I plan to review soon...

1. Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance vs Silk Naturals Eyeshadow Primer
2. Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer vs Silk Naturals Salmon Concealer
3. Attempting to duplicate an Eve Pearl look with Silk Naturals products.
4. Jose Eber Curling Iron & Straightening Iron

From Collage
Of course "soon" is subjective... but know that the reviews will involve me wearing one of each on each side of my face for a full 10hours. Thankfully I work at a place where wearing crazy warpaint is ignored.

Oh, anything else you'd like to see? Leave me a comment.

Just so you know, I have Eve Pearl's entire range of 42 items. Yes, I bought the BIG kit. And yes, I know what USD400 is in SGD. **heart is still pitter-pattering**

Now, this means I have a few items I don't need, so I'm letting it go at their retail price but with FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the world. Any takers? Drop me a comment.

Meanwhile, I'll leave you guessing which concealer I used in the picture above -- Silk Naturals? Eve Pearl?

omg... why did u buy so much of eve pearl? for comparisons? I thought u were a die-hard SN fan :)

I am a die hard SN fan. I'm also starting a course in make up artistry and I plan to venture into freelancing in it.

SN is great for everyday wear and it gives decent coverage and for shots taken with a normal camera, it looks great. However, I don't know if it will stand up against all the lights and scrutiny of HD video & still cameras... So I'm experimenting but I still something to compare with.

If SN does, great. If it doesn't, I'll need something that does, even if it does contain preservatives & a lot of other additives.

The great thing is, after having tried all kinds of foundations and powders, I have to say that Eve Pearl's products are really top of the line. The EP foundation really feels weightless and yet when I touch my skin, there's a softness to it.

You are wearing SN?

BTW where can you buy Eve Pearl products in Singapore? The salmon undereye concealer looks good. I'm using Cinema Secrets now but it doesn't stay on very well. I prefer a cream concealer which SN sadly doesn't have (Lumiere does though).

Hi eve+line,

as far as I know, there isn't a distributor here in Singapore for Eve Pearl Products. However, I do have some extra products from my haul, so if you're interested, you can take them off my hands at EP's retail price and save on the crazy exorbitant shipping. I have the Light, Medium and Tan salmon concealers and yes, of all the concealers I've used (bobbi brown, mac, ettusais, chanel, lancome, benefit, l'oreal, and a few more I can't remember) this one is by far the best. No reverse panda eyes in photographs, no creasing and getting into the lines, and it blends very well into my skin tone. The funny thing is, even though I wear "Light" for EP's foundation, the concealer that best suits me is "medium". I guess my undereyes are THAT bad. Also, the concept, I think, behind EP's foundations, is to match the neck, not so much as match the color depth of the face. So I happen to have a very dark face, but my neck and chest are very light, so using "light" helps make me look even all throughout.

I also love SN products. Really, for the price and the quality you're getting, it really can't be beat. I find that of between Everyday Mineral and Bare Minerals, SN's foundations are really the best in application and final outcome. And don't get me started on their dupes!

oh one thing: your SN eyeshadow primer looks exactly like my eyeshadow primer from MAD minerals!

Hi Belle, yes, Karen produces everything herself, except the primer, mascara & brushes. Those are from either contract manufacturers or private labels.

want to see review of primer!!!

Hi there.. How many items from Eve Pearl's do u have? Wat type is it? hee.. would like to know though.. ;)

Hi xskittleslOvesMakeup,

I have all the 42 items in her cosmetics line. I bought the Professional kit. They are very good products for professional shoots because the coverage can be layer to be quite heavy. For everyday wear, they're great too because u can adjust the coverage to be more sheer. But I find the price a little intimidating for the everyday user. You're better off buying something more affordable, like Silk Naturals =) Especially since I'm a firm believer of looking natural.
